This is not a personal find, but one of my fathers when he was young. He has held onto it for years and has had no luck identifying what it is or how old it is, so I told him about this awesome site I use :happysmiley: and was hoping Someone could shed some light here. The etching/design looks like it was done by hand and the numbers on the bottom seem unique how they are put. It looks old, but I'm not sure how old.

no clue what it could be, but my first impression is fire fighting related.

interesting. I figured the numbers would be able to identify it some way, but not sure how...I've searched online, but the sites I'm brought to are ebay or buy to see sites...:unhappysmiley:

Agreed with ARRC, we have one just like it that my wife uses in the kitchen. It doesn't have any markings to identify a country of origin but India would be my guess.

India was my first thought, I agree.

I'm inclined to agree with the guy's that got it right. They were spot on. Some others were pretty good guesses, and I like them as well, but it's what they said it was. Very god identification.

Yep, that's what it is. No doubt about it. Mark this as solved.
