Need help identifying spotted rocks

I found these today along a river in Pennsylvania very close to New Jersey and can't figure out what they are, they were pretty smooth and rounded when I found them and the little black specks sparkle when light hits them. Any help identifying them would be appreciated!☺️
 

It looks like gabbro, a slowly cooled, intrusive igneous rock, such as magma inside of a volcano, or in newly formed ocean crust. Quite common, but a cool looking rock none the less.
