Is it copper plated.Can you see lead up in the bottom.To me it looks like a modern 44 or 45 jacket pistol bullet.
Just my guess

Yes you can ,I would say that's what it is.I kinda fibbed when i said i found it.My uncle found it and a marble that i posted in it's forum. He came to our Christmas dinner yesterday and asked for info,so i told him that i would ask here.

.45 ACP bullet. Notice absense of crimping groove. .45 ACP headspaces on the case mouth hence shouldn't be crimped. Monty

That does look like the copper jacket for a .45.

If it was near a fire at one time, the lead may have melted out and
only the copper jacket remained due to the lower melting temp of the lead.
