I'm an amateur rock lover and I've found a ton of great stuff where I live (in NJ but my landlord has lots of rocks brought in from all over for his job and things seem to sneak by in there). I also have a brook in my backyard that connects to a river known for fossils.
I including a couple pics bc it has a soft white band I can flake away with my finger nail but also has parts with a bit of luster like pyrite as well as some green and black bits?
I also included a small white stone with black inclusions that I can't identify either.
