Hey, guys! It's been a while since I've posted here on TreasureNet and when a friend of mine asked me for help in identifying a coin she had, I told her that I knew exactly the place to go to with all of the treasure enthusiasts and collectors on this site. I've been trying to do my own research on this coin and so far, I haven't found anything to go on. From the looks of it, it appears to be Middle Eastern and I'm guessing that it's just a token of some kind instead of currency but I could be wrong since I don't really deal with foreign money. If anyone on this site knows what it is or may have any information as to what it features on the obverse and reverse, a translation, or what it could represent, I would be very grateful. Hopefully, I'll post again soon when I get the time to go back detecting again. :)

Thanks for the information, Mackaydon. I don't know much about foreign coins, but it is nice to learn more about them. :)
