Welcome to Treasurenet.

In my opinion you have a varying collection of finds from different time periods and I see nothing in your picture that is an easy I.D. other than the modern bottle cap.

I have a feeling that a few items pictured are not of Civil War Era but of early 1900's construction / building materials... but cannot say for sure.

There are several Civil War buffs here that may be able to I.D. something in your mix due to familiarity of something you found.

Also... I think some serious cleaning needs to be done to these items and more pictures AFTER cleaning will help in your quest.

Sorry I could not provide more.

I had to clean up your picture, as I was having problems seeing what you'd found. :icon_scratch:
As ARC already mentioned, to me these look like barn-related finds.
Miscellaneous items from farm machinery and wagon hardware.

Hopefully a CW expert will chime in here and offer better advice then mine.
Dave

The one tiny deal in the middle looks like a percussion cap, others I’ve dug up before and I think the antiquarian and arc are right about barn/wagon related

Welcome YC! Rockin around the clock here you have a 12 noon the center band from a harness draw bar. 3 o clock may be the nail swage those square nails were made in. Just to the left of that a hammer handle wedge. Square bails and a broken plow bolt. A piece of buggy or wagon hardware. At eleven a broken binder clamp. 1 o clock looks like a crown bottle cap. I see a couple of .22 cal bullets, at least 1 large (Military style) percussion cap and a couple of small nails. I'd say mid to late 19th century.

Thanks guys, yeah was'nt sure what really most of it was except the hammer wedge, bottle cap, and square nail. The property owners land that we hunted on was in two locations about 1 mile apart, both of which had 70 acres to hunt on. The first time around they found over 300 three ring bullets on the first 70 acres he allowed us to hunt, then because of the way we covered our holes he allowed us to hunt the other 70 acres of land this year. Not near as many bullets found this land but I did see one guy found a hammer that covered the wick of a cannon( not sure if im saying this right) and have yet to see the other finds of about 60 people that were hunting yesterday, so we'll see what was all found soon.

Sorry about the pictures, they were quite dark. Have to learn how to take better ones. And thanks Reanm8er, your descriptions really helped me out. :)
