If anyone can help identify this tiny coin that I found, I would greatly appreciate it. It is dated 1710. Marked 1/2 and F A. The other side is blank. I took it to a local coin shop and they were stumped. Any ideas?
may 2012 014.webpThanks for looking!

I can't identify that side but if I could just see the other side I think I have found a lot of blanks that are similar to the unseen side.

maybe a button?

A pic of the back may be necessary to determine if it may be a button.

I see a lion rampant on the left. What is that on the right? a flower or lily?

I don't believe you have found a one sided coin it would have to be infinitely thin.

Nice ID. How much is $20,000 Euros?

(US$ 20 000) Euros = 25 788 U.S. Dollars??

I was thinking of clicking on "add to cart" but maybe later....

I bought a bag of coins for $8.00 at a yard sale. Most were silver from Central America from the 1880's to 1912. This one was the oldest in the bunch. I have searched the internet for months trying to id this one with no luck. So, thank you to everyone for your help!
