Need help to identify this 2 1/2 pound bronze object. I have no idea what it is. To heavy for a bracelet. Has a beautiful deep rich patina. Appears to be very old. Has a design as you can see. Other than that I am completely stumped. But I do know it is just a cool piece. The weight is what is impressive again it is 2 1/2 pounds! Interested in anyones thoughts. Cheers zac

It's a pendulum weight for a longitude clock.



No it isn't. I'm totally making that up!
(Longitude clocks don't use pendulums.)

It's pretty cool though, whatever it is. :dontknow:

could you tell us what country it was found, was it dug
i remember the old Carousel horses with Brass Ring
in the nose, but 2.5#, seems a little heavy for that
