The rampant lion with crown and sword is used by the Royal Nederlands Air Force but yours is missing the sword.

I cant find the match but the rampant lion/crown/shield combinations are used on the Belgian Crest and a lot of civilian blazer buttons. But I dont know if it is a button. :dontknow:

It looks like some type of military horse tack/rosette/concho where a leather strap would go through the slotted areas to hold it in place. Breezie

Check out "coat of arms". There are quite a few that are very close to yours....especially some from Sweden.

I may be way off but Nederlands uses the same rampant lion, a shield and crown. I thought it may be a direction to search.

Im not saying I disagree with civilian blazer ID. It does have many similarities to blazer that is why I posted the buttons.. Im the TN expert on cheap civilian blazer types LOL and thats all I ever find. . I have so many pics but I dont have this one. Waterbury has a very large selection but not this design. It seems a little better made and I thought it may be a little worn.

Searcherman, I'm with Breezie on this as tack but for possibly fancy luggage though not horse, It appears to have been gold gilt at one time. :icon_thumright:

S-man, I was thinking outside the box on your disk, and came up with another idea. Since it is about the size of a penny, could it be part of a link bracelet because they have slots on both sides? Breezie
