Hey everyone
Was hoping someone might recognize this pin I dug today? Eagle on top , two crossed anchors
Red ,white and blue enamel panels with letters at top? Blue enamel shield center with something I can make out maybe wings?? Any help much appreciated
I found a similar pin, it was a ww2 battalion. Back then they had they had things like that. Keep searching, I bet you'll find it

Thank you everyone for your input . I haven’t found a exact match but the more I look the more it favors the American Expeditionary Forces logo world war 1 . Has some variances from examples but the shield , red white blue enamel and what looks to be AEF as well as the eagle also the chevron are similar . The chevron is upside down from examples I’ve seen but it is there . Also can’t find any with anchors . I thought quartermaster also but can’t find examples with anchors only key and sword. Examples of AEF pins for comparison

Congrat's on the cool looking pin. I think you are on the right track to getting this identified. Best of luck to you.
