Need HELP from baseball fans about this 1924 pendant

I found this brass baseball pendant years ago and i have never been able to find any info on it. It has stamped on it A.B.C. LEAGUE '24 on it....on the reverse it simply has the maker's stamp "SINGER & CO. Hi - that's a neat find I think it is from a semi-pro league based out of New York and New Jersey -the "Associated Baseball Clubs". It doesn't appear to have lasted more than a couple years and the only info I could find on it so far is in newspapers.

This first article is 7/26/1924 Long Island Daily Press and the second is the 9/7/1932 Daily Star, Long Island City.
