Need Help for seeking on beaches ...

I'm a new member. Hello to everyone.
Could someone tell me, where can I find information which would explain me :
How to know where to seek on beaches ?
At which distance in water ? How depth in water ?
If there are drawings or plans even better,
or any kinds of informations, I could need for seeking rings or jewels on beaches !

I'm a french canadian, but i'm also living in Cuba (Habana).
This winter I will seek on Cuba beaches with my new Garrett Sea Hunter Mark II.

It's not illegal ... but it's not legal !

You have to be well known by the police of that beach area.
It's very difficult to get your detector into the country.
(at the Cuban borders the will try by many maners: - not let you get into the country with your detector !)
You havec to know someone at the customs, at the beach ... and you also have to be a tourist !
You also have to talk ... Good spanish.

It's not illegal ... but it's not legal !
Quite a good job to got it inside.

Welcome steveodo. You should be able to get a good idea on beach detecting from the site that Farmercal posted. I want you to check back in here with us after you detect some of those Cuban beaches. Your a lucky man to be able to detect there. Keep us posted will ya?
