I had entirely different expectations when I read the title of this thread.......Need Help Dating Toy........air compressor..... ;D ;)

Actually, I think that is a WW1 gunner-that is a water-cooled machine gun and he is wearing canvas leggings.

Just following WWII, one of the kid toys was a set of casts and blocks of lead to make your own lead soldiers.
