Need help dating an old Pittsburgh Sun newspaper token

Found this cool token a number of years ago, and just ran across it again today. Based on its look and the cost of the newspaper I'd guess it dates to the 30s or 40s. Can't find a thing online so thought maybe someone here would know something about it. Thanks.

I believe your token is older since the Pittsburgh Sun name was used only between the years 1906 and 1927.
