Need excal headphone help.

Has anyone changed headphone on the Excal or put the speakers out of old headphones into different headphones? I can't stand the yellow headphones. They fit like crap. I have thought about putting my OLD redheads on my new excal, the problem is, the old excal has a leak and I am not sure where. So I'm not really wanting to put those on new excal in case that's where the leak is. I think I have seen posts before about putting the speakers in safety earprotection type headphones. Does anyone understand my rambling?

I changed the headphones on one of my excals, I cut the existing haephones cable about a foot below the controls and spliced it there, I then sealed it and waterproofed it...
