Thanks for the help. Guess I will keep reading

It's pretty much up to you. The sniper coil will allow you to do areas of high trash or targets better but they are so small it takes getting used to using such a small coil. A smaller than stock DD coil seems to work well for most. Something in the 6x8 size.

Are you having problems with your stock coil? If not, save your money. I have been using the stock coil with my XLT for 13 years with no problem and I have found about every kind of target you can find from surface to 2 ' down. Frank 111-1 profile.jpg

No I am not Frankn, I am new to this, I had to snow blow 1 foot of snow off a 20x20 area in the yard.so I could play with my new toy. Found a couple Lincolns, a few nails, and a Chuckie Cheese token, the first couple hours out of the box!. Trying to make sure I have everything I might need, when Spring gets to Michigan Thanks DirtAngler and Frankn
