Found this in a farm field. Seems like it came off a shirt or something with the cotton still attached to it. Thanks for any help

Looks more like a rivet or snap at first... what do you see with the dirt cleaned off the back?

Also, a clearer pictyure or drawing of that logo/design on front might be helpful.

Do you think that material might be burlap?

Long, long ago, and far far away, they had buttons you could wrap cloth to match whatever cloth you were using.
