NEED BUTTON ID HELP!!!!

dug this cuff size eagle button the other day, sorry pic quality is not better, but need help id'ing exactly what kind it is and if its post or pre war, as you can see there is a ring around the eagle, the eagle is looking towards the right, his wings are spread, and the shield on the eagles chest is at an angle.

no back mark that i could make out, and the shank was very thin, looked crudely made
