1930's is certainly a possibilty. A JSTOR listing (inaccessible) indicates that Lou-Walt had an ad for banners, badges, and emblems in the March 1938 edition of Music Educators Journal.

Cant google any information on Lou-Walt. Can you?

Only multiple listings for a Lou-Walt Masonic fez— and, of course, the JSTOR link that I mentioned.
Not listed in Rainwater, JCK (either 1930's or current), or other directories of organizational jewelry manufacturers.
Not included among fraternal regalia buttons backmarks, either.

Still around in the mid to late 40's. Found this on ixquick:

"Masonic Apron in tube mfg by Lou-Walt Dated 1946-48 Masonic Masters apron & silk installation card"

I'd go with mid to late 30's based on the Art Noveau font for the Lou-Walt logo.

Yes. The Art Deco font. I agree.
