I just walked into my local bank to make a deposit and there was a couple in there 50's dumping a ton of hand-rolled halves and other coins. I noticed and said "that's a lot of halves!" She said that her parents collected them and that they had to hand roll them all. I noticed that each wrapper said 222 on them, does this mean anything to you guys? I have never CRH'd but maybe this is a good time to start. Bank closes in 2 hours.

Buy them!
DITTO!
If you don't, you will forever wonder.......
Worst could happen, ya get skunked, life won't end either way, go for it!

Let us know what happens......

222 means buy them all!

it was probably supposed to be $222, the value of silver in each roll8-)

You have two choices.

1. Buy them all for yourself
2. Don't buy any and let them make their way back to Brinks and get boxed and we can buy them.

I think I would go with #1! LOL!!!

Good Luck!

*UPDATE* --- Talked to the teller, she told me that they turned in over $1000 and they had stated that they were all bi-centennials. Those aren't so special, are they?

Still would've bought them just to be sure.

And that teller is now rolling in silver. So she opened each roll?

Never trust a fellow silver fiend.

You should still ask for a few rolls to see if she was telling the truth.

or you just buy them all immediately and never even make this post. whats the worst case scenario here? 1k in clad?
