Sometimes things slip out and you just can't get them back. (make these out of metal or something)

The merlin I use seems to be very stout but I wonder how much these little bugger will take.

I have a whites bullseye II that I like. It does a good job. you just need to get a cell phone clip and put it on the back so you have some way to hang it to your belt.......

ROFLMAOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was sitting here saying to myself "Now what the heck would be wrong with making them out of metal?!?!?"

Then I stopped and all I could say was "duhhhhhhhh......."

Now on the other hand..... CARBON FIBER!!!!!!!!!

I just bought a Bullseye II. I had the old bullseye, but this new model is so much better. It has a light and a vibrating mode and an outside adjustment knob. You can pick em up on ebay for about 70 bucks.

Hey Jim,,, I received one of those pin pointers when I purchased my Cz3D from Kellyco and have never used it in the field... I did check it out here inside and it seemed to only detect a target within about an 1" or 2, so I never did, or probably never will use it. My cz seems to pin point very well and I have never really had the need for a one. If you would like to have it, it's yours, just PM me your address info and I will mail it out... I was going to have a contest of some sorts and give it away that way, but if you like using them I would gladly let you have it... Just let me know...
Good luck & Happy hunting~

Wow thats a generous offer leon :o

a few minutes after i posted this i said that too! a pinpointer that detects itself? LOL

maybe theres a way to reinforce a pinpointer?
i dont use mine much except when i use the cobra on land which is hardly ever, just one of those things thats handy when you need it :P specially for tight spaces you wanna probe for metal.

Wait 'til you get my age Jake and your near vision goes. You will need it then! I can't see a thing down in the hole especially in dim light. I also have found a lot of things embedded in the wall of the hole when I was just a hair off in my pinpointing with my detector. It is a generous offer and I am appreciative. I have notice a lot of the forum members are very generous when helping out a fellow. jimakaks

Even the sharpest pair of eyes can miss a dirt or sand covered coin. This is especially true the deeper the hole is, or if you pin point off center. No one is perfect .

a pinpointer can also minimize the chances of scratching the target with your trowel.........like i have done 1000 times! :(

I just want everyone to know how much I appreciate your responses to this post. "Leon" sent me a brand new V2 just like the one I broke and refused to take any payment for it! I am eternally grateful and if there is anything I can do to repay the favor just let me know! Same goes for any member on the forum. You need something and I got an extra , it's yours.....except for my lucky blue prospecting shirt! JIM aka KS

way to go leon!! its cool to see a good guy help out another good guy! ;)

Leon, you are a hell of a guy in my book.? Maybe oneday someone will help you out in like turn.? Everyone could take a lesson from you! Jim, you say anything? Could you send Smithers over to do some yard work for me? Hehehe No? How about a shirt and hat from the nuclear plant?

No need for a pat on the back guys, but thanks... I am very glad I could help. As stated above, I probably would have never used it, and I'm glad someone is able to put it to some good use...
Good luck & Happy hunting~
