This is the page everyone is constantly posting pictures on, so I thought this would be a decent place to post this... I hope I'm not breaking the rules I just wanna see some more vivid treasure shots!
I don't like having to focus on the safety of my electronics when I am out adventuring. For this reason, most of my life I either did not own a camera or owned it for a short period of time before I destroyed it. About a year ago I was doing a ton of fishing off my kayak and wanted to take pictures. I searched everywhere online for a camera that could take abuse and handle getting wet.
I ended up going with the Pentax w90 because it has a strong body, it's compact, and it is fully submersible. I don't take pictures under water(although it can) but I can be 100% confident with this camera out in the rain/mud. It also takes beautiful pics out in the sunlight. One of the most important features is it has an awesome macro mode (for coins/ treasure pics). The camera sells for $199 on Amazon. Just buy a screen protector if you get this camera; that's what I did(a glass one), it lasted for the past year til I recently smashed my camera into the wall and cracked the protector (camera still like new). I also got a camera strap so I can hang it around my neck comfortably. Here are some macro mode pics I took that show picture quality up close. (The first one is a stadium seat with crumbs or whatever that we couldn't even see with our own eyes.)
Highly recommend this camera for the outdoorsy type!
