Looks good Joe. I dug one that size at a 1840s house. It will make a very nice addition to your collection when cleaned. I thought the "lid" may be the top of a beer stein but I don't think those tops had holes in them but I'm not a beer expert like Modern Miner-LOL. HH, Quindy.

Pretty cool finds. To bad you didn't find the pipe to go with that Lid. Get those rain covers out, it's raining :(
