Some of the tree's are turning bright color's, but unfortunately, these are not. Just took a couple of pictures where I was able to stop.

No, I didn't climb it. Even if I had time, I'm not in good enough shape to try something like that. Was just passing through.Did you climb Mt. Whitney? Looks like that mountain in the pic on the right, but it isn't. Whitney is the peak to the immediate left of that tall peak--just much father away makes it look 'shorter'. Alabama Hills in the foreground wherein many a western movie was filmed back in the day.

No set time for how often I use 395. Once in a while when I end up delivering in the Spokane, Wa.
area, and they usually send me to north Idaho to get lumber for LA., and route me down 395.
