10 hours of humidity, wind and mud, but buckshot and i had a blast as usual, it was the first time this year we were able to get out! The black point is new material for us, is it permian? And I think it's base is ground, hard for me to tell. Now the broken triangle shaped one is interesting because we really do think it's been ground, tried to show that with picture. Our first thought when I picked up was that it's the stem to a calf-creek, but then after reading, I think possible early triangle? and the dull colored scraper is "uniface" on both sides, with some interesting knapping. Is it archaic? Or did a thick bulky scraper just fractured that way? lot's of new material for us, even if the points were few. Y'all stay cool out there, and drinks lots of water!

thanks for looking and good luck,

WOW....you guys did really good---those are fantastic finds! And all that flint---Now you can start filling up your old bottle/jar you found, huh?

Glad you and Buckshot got out!

nice post , yeah i went out digging over weekend didn't come up with much don't know what was worse the heat or the mosquitoes .

Nice finds, the blue flint with white fossils is Foraker flint, but I can't tell if the stem point is Foraker flint or not.

I don't know you're area but they look like late archaic corner notched expanding stem points. Very nice!

Must have missed this the first time around. Nice finds! The scraper does look old, not sure if that's a type that repeats itself through history or not. Thanks for the view.
