NE 1 know if Oklahoma maps from US Govt. from the 1800's were in diff scales?
I know one can buy maps of townships of Ok state and the scale is 1" = 40 chains(from the 1800's) This would make
a normal map 12" x 12" consisting of squares 2 " x 2" for each sq. mile.
NE 1 know if there were ever any smaller versions used by surveyors in the field when they were rechecking measurements, etc.? Smaller scale than the 1" = 40 chains?
