It was the annual Army vs Navy football game. It started in 1890. A big competition between the Army from the West Point NY academy vs the Navy from the Annapolis MD academy.

It was a good game, when I don't have a favorite in a game I usually cheer for underdog and so I was cheering for Navy since I have good friend who did 20 in the Navy.

Game goes back to 1890 and there has never been a brawl at Army/Navy game, Military discipline would not allow it nor would any player want to bring dishonored to their branch.
