Navy officers button...Era?

Hello all, found some bullet heads and casings yesterday along with an officers button. It appears to be a 1940's era naval officers button from the info I found online but any input would be appreciated. If anyone would know it would be the trusty folks on tnets forum. Thanks in advance.
