Naval Button. Age & Type?

Howdy Folks. I dug an old Naval Button this afternoon. Looks to be an older one but the back is toasted so I can't identify it. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nice link. My button is not in this mix. My variety starts with the rope coming from left to right beneath the anchor shaft leaving a "loop" on the "right" of shaft before going up into the anchor's "eyehole" from left to right. It sure looks military and old to me but, you may be right. I'll keep searching for an exact match. Thanks mate.

The Waterbury site shows three buttons similar to yours listed in the fashion section. The rusted back leads me to believe it is a civilian fashion button. It may be easier for you to match it because you can probably see more detail in person than we can in a picture.
