Hi all,

As promised, my collection of diecast to date. There's 112 in the box...I had alot more but they were either squashed or too badly decomposed or broken to keep. There's about every brand you can think of here..Matchbox, Hot Wheels, Corgi, Topper Johnny Lighnings, Tootsie Toy, Road Champs, Maisto and others.

You may have some good ebay items there. That sure is a bunch. I haven't found that many in 30 or so years of diggin. Nice!!!

Nice collection. I keep all of the ones I find also, even the parts that I find. I call it my miniture junk yard.

Thanks fellow car collectors!

I'm into Hot Wheels (redlines) and have helped with the editing of The Ultimate Redline Guide 2nd Edition, now available in stores.

See the Volkswagen (lower center of photo)? It was more than likely lime-yellow when it was new..a lime-yellow has a collector value of $90.00 (mint condition, out of package).

A true yellow Hot Wheels Custom Volkswagen (which is the rarest color for that model) has a collector value of $1,250.00.

I managed to find 11 whole cars in one yard... an in town small front yard...... I am into the tootsie toy cars more than the hotwheels... but I have some decent ones I will try to get some shots of.....

Here's my Tootsie Toy collection so far..I found the blue pickup truck 2 days ago.

Below are my favorite kind of diecast..redline Hot Wheels. The ones in the background are the ones I dug up and are in various conditions of wreck..the cars in the foreground are what they looked like new.

1967 Custom Volkswagen.

1967 Beatnik Bandit, concept car designed by Ed "Big Daddy" Roth.

One of my favorite castings - 1970 Red Baron.

1969 McLaren M6A, modeled after a Grand Prix race car built and raced by Bruce McLaren.

1973 Hiway Robber (I found this one in my back yard in 1995).

1971 Road Hog, one of 16 RRRumblers models made by Mattel from 1971-1973.

Natman,I found a purple Tootsie jaguar today just like your pink one at a home that a guy I work with is going to have demolished this week.I will post it when my wife takes gets home to take pic.I love to find old toy cars as much as coins.

Im 40 years young and i think i had all those cars like the red baron, beetle,and etc. Nice finds, brings back a lot of memories from the 70`s. Thanks and HH Coinman66
