Also, you can test it yourself to see if it is really silver. Take the top off your toilet tank (if it is ceramic that is... which most are.) then turn it over and scratch the stone/silver on the unglazed portion of the lid. Silver will give a silver/grey streak. If the streak is anything but silvery it is NOT silver.
