Approximately 1.5" diameter. Copper/brass?
Backside looks like lead like other bridle rosettes I've found. Yes the photo is not much help. Has a "stylized Eagle head, very squared off. It repeats above, but smaller. Very beat/old. Sothern Douglas county Oregon, Cow Creek/near Applegate trail, northern extreme of gold country in this area. PS guessing Native American trade good?
Using a 30x lighted lope.
Edit I believe 3 Eagles stacked, with stylized feather. Three eyes stacked, left to right getting smaller as you go right/up as viewing from bottom..
