Native American Tinkle Find or ???

Howdy Folks. I recovered an unusual relic yesterday. Nickel plated brass curved and tapered tube. 2 1/4 inches long. It is overlapped and reminds me of a worked piece of metal like a tinkle cone. Any suggestions are always appreciated. Kurios1

I would say that Native Americans did work copper, but they did not have nickel plated brass. This piece may be just a piece of plumbing.

The only tinkler cones I am familiar with are the thin hammered and then rolled brass ones.
