Hard to do with no markings on the ring.there is a database of Native tribe marks that includes initials and symbols.
I respectfully disagree. This is without a doubt a Navajo made piece in my opinion. I have an interest in and a small collection of Southwestern and Native American jewelry and have had many pieces go through my hands over the years. Most of the older Native American made pieces are unmarked. Sometimes you will find hand scribed signatures on pieces too, like this on a squash blossom necklace that I sold several months ago-Jewelry not made for sale is not required by law to be marked, jewelry made for sale is required to be marked. Therefore it is likely somebody's jewelry class project, and likely not NA made at all, just made in an NA style.
