I found this Native American bone bead on a pebbly surface, in Northeastern Mass. I'm wondering how old this bead is, and other info about it.

Cool find! Probably made from deer or elk antler(which is bone). Have you found any projectile points or other artifacts in the same spot? That may be helpful in determining what tribe made it and when.

I was only there for 30 minutes, Not intending to do any treasure hunting but metal detecting while I was walking in that area, Sadly that site is out of state, and I have not been there since.
