National Parks/Civil War Relics...

I'll tell you what Copperhead....As long as I've got my PRIVATE PROPERTY to hunt, right next to the Battlefield They can kiss my A$$.(Period.)

We hunt Civil war relics.
We recover relics.
We NEVER go on park property.
We are not "looters" or "thieves".
They insinuate the we "diggers" are all in the same group.
I guess that means that the group that found the Titanic,
or the great Mesapotaniam treasure fleet are all "looters"
and "thieves"!
I'm with Civilman on this one! Only they can kiss another
part of my anatomy.....................

All is not lost. Some serious inroads have been made by our groups assisting the NPS on locating battle lines, etc. So far we have hunted on Murfreesboro, Shiloh and Chickamauga, all with great success. They are evening using some of the relic hunters to identify objects recovered that they don't know what they are. So far only about half of them still call us names.

They should have mentioned how many park rangers have been caught looting. A great deal of the illegal digging is done at night while they are supposed to be watching over our parks. But that is a typical NPR story. They only tell half of it! Im getting to the point where I do not like listening to that station because they are so one sided about everything.
