Friday, August 31, we headed west along highway 41, stopping at the smallest Post Office in the U.S.
Started detectin sands/surf just north and south of Naples Pier. I received a short sharp signal in dry sand. I took me about 10 minutes to find the critter but it was a post ear ring, a tiny burger compared to a coin. I thought it's mate might be there also and was receiving the same short sharp signal so I spent another 15 minutes lookin for it and bingo, found it. I plan have the stone tested for authenticity.
Found some other coins & trash. The sunset was worth the drive. 8)
Oh, by the way, don't ever let your meter expire for one minute! Ours expired and I swear within 5 minutes of expiration, a nice "ticket" was under the wiper.
