Been going there since 91. Was just there two weeks ago and hunted the beach area and several other areas. Finding some coin. The pier area is a trashy area. Slobs burying their garbage in the sand. That area is hunted hard. Couple years ago. I crawled up under the pier and found alot of coin and a necklace. (bums used to hang out there). My new AT Pro had me diggin a full can of beer out of the sand well over 12" down... lol. There also is alot of metal fragments in the sands of Naples beach. A few years back the beach was replaced by dredged sand offshore. Beautiful place as always. Take your pole.. free fishing off the pier !
