Another option would be to have it repaired before selling it?

I have heard jewelry repair is overly expensive. Anyone have a ballpark of what a fair price is to replace a stone? Thanks for replying.

That missing stone is negligible. Go to Rio Grande and order a turquoise cabochon the same size. Pop it in with some glue. Fold

Yeah, that looks like an easy fix if you can find the stone to replace it with. That is what I would try to do. Nice bracelet by the way. I love the Navajo stuff. As for Nancy Custer and the "NC" mark , the book "Hallmarks of the Southwest" doesn't say much other than she may be the same person who uses the "N.Custer" mark which first appeared in 1976. At that time she was a smith for the Atkinson Trading Co.

What year edition do you have? Is it worth $50 -$60 to buy it? Just curious what you think. HH

ask a couple local, non-chain, jewelers that do repairs for estimates on repair. you want a stone that matches in color, quality or you will have an unhappy customer. my local jeweler repaired a ring very reasonably, and did a free, verbal valuation as well. they may be able to tell you what its worth as is, and what its worth if repaired, and you can make the decision from that.

I have the revised edition (2000). It's worth it if you plan on buying, selling or collecting Native American Jewelry for any length of time. You can get it on Amazon for around $37 shipped right now.

Thank you. Now I know what to ask for Birthday/ Father's Day present. HH
