I'm hoping someone can help me identify the bust on this devotional pendant I found metal detecting a couple days ago.
It has a depiction of Jesus (sacred heart) on one side and a bust of what I'm guessing is a saint or a Pope of the time on the other.
I found it in an area with items old enough to contain the skeleton key that I have photoed here also.
I apologize for the lack in quality of the photos as I'm only working with a cell phone at the moment

I could probably clean it a lot better but I'm trying not to make an old item look like new if you know what I mean

Maybe it's not all that old it sure looks like it could be Pope Paul VI "1963-1978"
Hard to say though something looks wrong about the nose

It could have. Catholic devotional metals like these have been worn and displayed in many ways for a very long time

Pretty sure it's brass.. but yeah.. it felt personal and kinda special when I removed it from being trapped in the ground.
