Name of Italian Maker from Mark/registry number

I am having a difficult time identifying the Italian fine jeweler based of registry number. This is from a pair of earrings that I "stole" (paid 25.00!) at a local estate auction. These are cuff style earrings with the Europeon gold mark of 750 and the makers mark (registry number) of 1002 AL. Someone told me they thought the registry number was from a designer of BVGARI! Any help locating the truth/name of the jewelry designer is greatly appreciated!!

you could start by looking into this just type in jewelry halmarks gold italian.....without a picture it is hard to investigate......hope this helps....all the experts are busy @ this time....wait here comes 1 now...welcome

It was Bulgari then. I am not sure how they assign these numbers though. Not sure if it is a Maker's number etc.
