Found a few items at a Seminole wars fort site. The place was pretty much hunted out but did come up a couple things. A wood plane blade top left. To its right is also some type of blade . Just below is a gun tool after a little cleaning up. Below that is a brass ring, Small cuff button with star and a brass J hook. And belew that one pewter four hole button and a brass flat four hole button along with one well chewed musket ball.

A couple better pics of the button with star. I have it in the what is it fourm I dont know if its military or not.

Close up of the ring musket ball. The ring has some markings on it but cant seem to make them show up in the photo just to warn. Thanks for looking. If you have a ID on the button let me know.

Hey those are super finds and not every area is totally hunted out. Thanks for Sharing.

Nice finds. I am not too sure the star button is period, and it appears you have part of a wire stopper from a Hutchinson bottle (also not period).

I would say the person who chewed that musket ball had some strong teeth and jawbones.

Again, nice finds...glad to see those Forts still giving it up.

I hear ya SWR I dont see how any one could bite that hard on a musket ball myself. But then again Ive never had any body parts sawed off. Much less wile I was awake. I bet more people lost feet to foot rot than limbs to bullets.
