N C Co. 139 Brass Tag ID needed Solved: Tool Check Tag

Could be a tool check-out tag, or any number of other applications...

When I was a kid, the local public pool used a similar tag for our clothing bag.

Did some checking around and the NC CO, Haynes Furniture Company Incorporated, North Carolina Company kept coming up.

If the tag did belong to that company, its a good bet that they had a tool checkout center and this was a way of keeping track of tools.
