I know of a Couple Guys who drive over from N AL to our club hunts & also have their own club.
Don't know them Well but they seem like Good Guys & are experienced Hunters.
I don't have their club info in front of me but ill try to post the info if your interested .

I never quite understood why somebody would want to bring an entire club to a good spot.
Just tossing in my two cents I do my own research and have no problem taking myself to the places I would like to go never once thought about spreading everything out amongst as many people as possible

So...assuming most feel the same... It seems to me likely that a " club hunt".. Will be at best mediocre.
Sorry guys... I'm just babbling.

Really...??.. N. Alabama is mostly thieves in the night?
You make a detailed report on where you found that wheat penny???
"Casual relic hunter"?
What are you? Professional?
Permission is permission.. Trespassing is trespassing.. Is this scenario you speak of on your property?
All your talk of context makes it sound like your doing an archaeological dig.. Do you run string lines and measure depth of objects as well as photograph them in-situ before recovering and conserving ..label bag and file every one?
So.. What do you do with all this historically important pocket change buttons..ect..that you so carefully document? Is it all given to the home or property owner with an agreement that it all goes to the local historical society?
After all.. Its " our" history not yours alone.. So you can't steal from me..correct.
What any of that had to do with group hunts I have no idea???
Thieves in the night..blah blah.. Come on...what brought that up?
Non group means thief?
