I found this Navy button at an old house site yesterday and I'm having a hard time ID'ing it. There are none like it listed in the Albert or Tice books. It features an anchor with a rope on the top coming off to the right of the ring. Unfortunately the back is gone, so it is impossible to know the back mark. I believe it's an older button because of the high dome. The site I found it at has given up relics from the 1850s through around 1910. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks and HH!
