Not sure where I got this, someone here can surely date this approximately by the 4 digit phone number,
This has a NAME and ADDRESS and PHONE # and at the bottom it appears to say "CITY" but I can't read if it says something else....
Is it a drivers licence ? or maybe a tag from a piece of luggage ?
It's interesting because of all the info it has but WHAT exactly is it ?
Thanks in advance

Maybe it was riveted to a dog collar.
Not as a license, but to find owner if the dog is lost.

Looks like the one hole is worn from hanging off a ring or something.
So I would go with dog tag or key tag.
all I get from 409 S. Pineview Ave. in Google search in Goldsboro, NC

In 1948,Harold Corkey became the Pastor of the George Kirby Chapel on North Herman Street, Goldsboro, NC
The Corkey's lived in Goldsboro for at least 7 years--but, sadly, I have no idea what is the OP's find.

Well. One thing about it that i see... it looks like gravity may have played some role in the wearing of the adjacent hole! Just something to think about!

Always feel proud to find something with a NAME. an actual person's history.

Wonderful

Honestly I don't know where I found it but I do live in NC

UPDATE: Goldsboro is nearer the coast, halfway between here and Wilmington NC. several hours from here in Charlotte where I live, although I don't remember where I got it, it almost certainly didn't come from Goldsboro per se, as that is way out of my hunting area... Not saying it didn't originate there, only that I probably didn't find it there.

It seems Rev. William B. Harold Corkey and his wife Elizabeth lived at that address around 1950.

I went down a bit of a rabbit hole researching Harold and his family. They lived quite a life including a number of years in a Japanese internment camp in Manchuria during WWII.

It's always interesting to find a relic with a name on it. Fun research and a great story uncovered.
