Mystery scabbard

Hi folks,
got a challenge here, i found this old scabbard recently when i was moving and have no idea what culture or sword it belongs to any advice and guidance would be fantastic.

Its dimensions are: 87.5cm long, 5.8cm wide, 4.1cm deep

I want to say it is possibly Ottoman Empire type. Their curved swords are known as kilij. Here is a link to see different pictures:
