***Mystery Piece-- Is it a FUSE or NOT!!!!

? ? ? This Piece was found at an old Foundation that had a verity of Relics and Coins. The time period ranged from Large Cents up to IndianHeads ,Old Flat Buttons to WW1 Buttons. This piece came out at a Depth of 10 inches and hit like a? bomb...The mystery is ?? ?What is It...I was a told it is a fuse off one of the Civil war Train Cannons...True or False...That is why I am asking all the experts out there....The small copper piece in the center comes out ,it looks like a charge of some type it was in the piece when it was found.... have Fun .....Seeker

Cool find, living in the Pacific Northwest means we dont get to hunt for things like that. However, Juan de Fuca, Captain Cook and a lot of others anchored their boats in our harbor and got water here.....so who knows.
