🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Mystery medal, badge?

Mystery badge or medal? Found today seems to be made of lead
Before cleaning dirt off
I thought I saw two crossed guns upper left , maybe an eagle in center , round object below almost looks like a horse and rider ?
After cleaning only thing I’m sure of is what looks like crossed guns on upper left but maybe some letters in the second ribbon?
Any help greatly appreciated . Nothing on the back at all

I think you're right about the medal or badge pat. Looks a little small to be a badge, so I would lean towards medal. Does it look like there could have been a ribbon attached to the top? I would look into what kind of military activity in the area or what lodges, (Elks, Moose, VFW, etc) and try to compare the shape to their awards.

I “want” to see a prospector and mule/horse in the circle. The X in the upper left look possibly like a shovel crossed with a pick. Probably just my over-active imagination! Kinda like seeing things in the clouds. Good luck 🍀

It looks like the banner says Semper Fidelis ... or Semper Paratus and the circle looks like a globe. The bottom also looks like a chevron. Wonder if it could be an old Marine or Coast guard badge of some sort?

If so, possibly a Marksman or Sharpshooter medal with crossed rifles.

I am not seeing any crossed rifles. Sabres maybe,. but they really don't look like either.

Maybe "Bravery" just a guess. Mostly based on your marks.
