Looks like a printer's block , depicting a disc, a piece of farm machinery. Neat find!

I'm going to agree with Print Block.

Would look like this on Paper

Now, the real challenge will be to research the clues given, such as the letter in the upper left corner, and determine what company this advertisement was for, and in what year.. It has to be early 1900's ..

If you have an old ink pad around somewhere like what you would use with rubber stamps you can use that to see what the printed picture would look like. I sometimes buy old printing blocks if they are of a subject that catches my eye. Just bought 2 at a local flea market. One is a 66 Chevelle & one is the Texaco logo.

It looks like a twin 15-disc horse drawn cultivator and the number 15 might refer to the number of discs. Dare I say that I remember levers adjusted the depth of the cut.
Don.......
I agree disc cultivator and I see the levers but the number does not print. I enlarged Jeffs image of what it would print like on paper. I think the thingy in the upper left corner may be a company logo.

Looks much like the second pic mojjax. The 3rd lever is in a different location and its double but otherwise very similar..
